Product Description:
Ultramarine is a blue inorganic pigment with a molecular formula of Na6Al6Si6S4O20, which is prepared by mixing sulphur, clay, quartz, carbon, etc. It is an inorganic substance and can only be melted at high temperature. The ultramarine pigment has good hydrophilicity. It is easily destroyed by an aqueous solution of acid, but it cannot be dissolved in common organic or inorganic solvents. Ultramarine has a place in the blue pigment with its unique red light. Ultramarine products are extremely versatile. Used in coloring for blue paints, coatings, rubber, inks, tarpaulins, painted and exterior wall paints, for whitening, paper, soap, starch, white products and civil walls. In addition, it can eliminate the yellow color of white matter, alkali resistance, heat resistance, light resistance, discoloration by acid decomposition, insoluble in water.
Product Features:
Ultramarine is the most common blue inorganic pigment, it is sulfur compound of aluminum silicate.
